I love this family! Steve and Amanda have raised some of the coolest kids I have ever met, truly. Zealand, Jamie and Dakota are so sweet and polite, but seriously know how to have a good time. We had a blast hanging with them last week and I am wondering why we don't do it more often!
Such a pretty evening spent with such a gorgeous family! We spent the evening running around San Dieguito County Park and actually found some fall leaves to play in! (rare for San Diego in my experience) So nice meeting you guys and congratulations on the new babe on the way!
I had so much fun meeting the Guiers the other day. Jessica, Josh and their little dude Jackson were sooo sweet! Jackson is such a boy, he was on a mission to find sticks, leaves, dirt, anything he could get his hands on! I loved it! Such a cutie!
I couldn't be happier for my friends Jorden and Becca on their engagment! We had so much fun drinking a couple of tasty beers and taking photos last week. I am sooooo looking forward to their wedding in August next year, congrats you two!!!
Meet the Bisco family! Melanie, Don, and their son Dean were such a fun family to hang with, and I can't leave out their amazingly well trained jack russell terrier Molly! Seriously, I have never seen a jack russell so well behaved! I had such a good time and couldn't have asked for a prettier evening. Enjoy the photos!
I had so much fun last weekend hanging out with Adam and Phuong, and their pup Teddy! We couldn't have asked for nicer weather, and we got to witness one the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen in San Diego! Can't wait until Adam and Phuong's wedding in November!!! Congrats you two!
I met Tessa in the fifth grade and she has been one of dearest friends ever since. I love her, seriously! She can always make me laugh, she is literally the wittiest person I know, she is a total babe, and on top of all that she is a total bad ass who gallops racehorses for a living. Love you Tessa!
Got to hang out and shoot some photos with this awesome family the other day! Michelle and Michael are so laid back, and their kids Cassius and Kendall are too cute! Kendall was seriously one of the happiest babies I have ever met, and Cassius was so sweet with his favorite stuffed animal "Penguino!" So much fun!
Even though I have lived in San Diego for close to eight years I still feel like I don't know the area that well. I hate to admit this, but I am very much stuck in my little North County bubble ranging from Encinitas to Del Mar! This becomes a problem when I am trying to think of new locations to shoot photos at, especially photos with a more natural backdrop that doesn't involve the beach! I dragged Nick along the other day to find some new spots for an upcoming family shoot I have and found this cool little zone by UCSD. I am loving the trees!!!
Recently I got to witness love at its finest at the vow renewal for my friends Aaron and Alicia. They are such a rad couple and I can't believe they have been married for 10 years, and together for 16! What an accomplishment! Congratulations Aaron and Alicia!
I was so happy to be able to photograph my friend's Tom and Courtenay for the announcement of the first baby! Courtenay is due in January and I couldn't be happier for the both of them! This little babe is soooo lucky to be coming into the world to two such adventurous, kind, and beautiful parents! Congratulations Tom and Court!
Branched out and did some photos of people for a change! I took photos of my good friends Scott and Grace! Best couple ever! So glad they are in my life! Scott and Grace are two of the nicest, most down to earth people I have ever met, and it was sooooo much fun putting them in front of the camera!

I recently got to spend an absoulutely beautiful weekend at my parents home in Woodinville, WA. The weather was incredible, and the beauty of the Seattle area is pretty much unbeatable when the weather cooperates! Since I started taking pet photos I haven't had time on my previous visits to take some images of my parents two dogs, Brewster (Chihuahua) and Angie (Yellow Lab). I made sure to make time over this past weekend so here are a few shots. I loved how green everything was!
Had a lot of fun today shooting for Fido Friendly Magazine at the La' Auberge Resort in Del Mar! Scout was my partner in crime for the day. She is available for adoption at Helen Woodward Animal Center which is also located in Del Mar. She did such an amazing job! She learned to sit and stay in a matter of minutes, and behaved herself in such a hectic environment! If you are looking for a furry addition to your family go check her out soon. She won't last long. :)
My photo friend Maggie Dowdy of Mag & B Photography was nice enough to let me try out/borrow her Canon EF 35 1.4L lens for the next few days! It is such a beautiful lens! Definitely going to be my next photo purchase when I have the dough! Here are a few photos of my little monsters shot with it over the weekend.

Here are just a few of the rad little critters that are calling Helen Woodward their home until they find the right family. Once again, I can't stress how sweet all the pets I met were, and if you are considering adding a furry, four-legged friend to your household go check out your local adoption centers!
I spent the day at Helen Woodward Animal Shelter today taking photos of their adoptable pets, and updating some interior images for their website. It was so much fun! If you are thinking about getting a pet please consider checking out the animals at this wonderful shelter! So many special pets in need of their forever home! This particular pup has four other litter mates, they are all so unbelievably cute I am honestly surprised I didn't come home with one myself!
Natural light is what I am most used to shooting with so I wanted to branch out and try something new. Luckily my two dogs are a good sport when it comes to having their photos taken :) They are definitely used to it by now!
